I’m trying to embed a YouTube video into my slide and I’m running into the problem of the loading bar being stuck at 100% and not loading the video.

I’ve tried both embedding the video as a slide video and as an interactive video, and I tried to load the whole 11 minutes and only a 1 minute snippet. Each time the bar gets stuck at 100% and stays there for over five minutes.

Is there a workaround?

I agree with Lieve here, It sounds like the video might not allow for embedding which is a feature in YouTube that the video author chooses.

Okay, that makes sense. It was a video of a medical procedure, so maybe there were restrictions. I’ll ask the author if there are any alternatives.

As  YouTuber I can tell you that I have the option of selecting Allow embedding when I upload a video. Almost always I include this option because it allows me to post my videos here. There are times when I’m producing videos for a smaller selected audience I usually uncheck this option.

Yes I was going to say this as well. I’m also on YouTube and there is a spot to allow or disallow embedding.
