This may be a bug or probably as designed by Adobe but I think the borders should be removed if they can’t be used. I am working on a module and had created custom TOC and playback buttons using shapes as buttons. When I preview locally in HTML5, it behaves perfectly but once uploaded to an LMS, I could not click the buttons but the shortcuts work. The issue disappears if I deselect the borders. The skin editors truly add some aesthetic values to the modules. I hope for some feedback from Adobe.

Personally I never use those borders. If I want something like a border I will add it to the main master slide because that will offer me complete control, which is certainly not the case with the borders in the Skin editor. Moreover it can be saved in the Theme as well if you like to have projects based on a company branded theme. Especially since you already use custom navigation buttons at this moment, certainly a better choice to create the border on the main master slide.

I even learned today that there may be another problem cause by those borders but didn’t double-check it yet.
