Captivate Course

Hi there! I am a novice at instructional design and currently working as a junior content writer with a publishing house. I have shortlisted one of the foundation courses in Instructional Design, but they don’t cover any tools in particular. I want to explore Captivate, as it will set me up for other tools as well. Need recommendations from the experts about any certificate course for Captivate. Suggestions for a good instructional design course are also welcome.

I recommend the courses offered throught the Online Learning Consortium for instructional design training. They offer a certificate path.

Hi there! I had a similar query a few years back. I would recommend checking out the Association for Talent Development (ATD) website for their certification courses. Did one myself and found it very practical and industry oriented.

Hi! It’s great that you want to explore Adobe Captivate. It’s a fantastic tool for eLearning design, and you can do a lot with it. I suggest checking the Adobe website frequently for any update on their certificate courses. Till then Udemy or Udacity can do the job for you 😊. Happy skilling!!! You may also want to explore IDC’s Instructional Foundation Course

LinkedIn Learning offered a number of intro courses that helped me! Also Paul Wilson on YouTube is an excellent teacher.

Can totally relate, as I started as a content writer myself. Adobe Captivate is an excellent tool to explore for eLearning design. Adobe provides certification programs that cater to different levels of expertise, and you can select one that best suits you. Apart from that, check out the Learning Guild for instructional design’s latest news and updates. And don’t forget to practice, practice, practice!!!

Hi! I was in a similar position a few years ago, and I found Adobe Captivate to be an excellent tool to master. As for certification, Adobe offers multiple options based on your proficiency level. Currently, though, they have taken down the certifications for some reason. You can check out Adobe’s website for any upcoming updates on certifications. For instructional design courses, I would recommend checking out Coursera or Udemy. They offer a range of courses in instructional design, and you can choose one that suits your needs.

LinkedIn is offering online training courses: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/topics/captivate

This is for example an essential course that you might find useful:

Adobe is offering an online training curriculum and assessment. Currently, they are upgrading the curriculum and certification exam, please see the link below:
