I am designing a course with interactive TOC in the new Adobe Captivate. I have created the TOC, with each image linked to a separate module. How do I ensure that the learners visit all the modules before taking the quiz. Kindly help.
Careful when looking for tutorials. The keyword to use is ‘Forced view’. Although the principle is the same as in older versions, the lack of shared/advanced actions makes it lot harder to reproduce.
May I offer another question? You talk about ‘modules’. That seems to indicate that you want to have multiple chapters in one project? First goal of the new version is to create responsive projects. Keep in mind that use of a big project with multiple modules could be a problem on mobile devices. They do not have the capacity on software and hardware to be compared with desktop/laptops, and are often used with a more limited bandwidth.
If you will use this in collaboration with a LMS, an alternative would be to have main project linked to the modules. Set up rules in the LMS, either concerning visibility of the modules, or results on the learner’s gradebook to achieve your goal.
Of course if your learners will mainly use desktop/laptops that tip can be ignored.
So, basically you are creating a branched scenario. It has quite a bit of triggering work I must say. The above-mentioned tutorial can also be found here. https://elearning.adobe.com/tutorial/
Hi! Are you asking about how to disable the ‘Next’ button till the learners visit all the modules? This will need a bit of triggering. Refer the “How To: Create Branched Scenarios” tutorial in the “Learn’ section of the app to get the exact workflow for the same.
