Hi there!
Has anyone else had this same experience with Adobe Captivate where the preview screen is solid black after creating a project? It could also be that I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.5. I’m assuming it’s some type of compatibility issue. If that’s the case then I will need to submit a request with my supervisor to purchase the subscription version of Adobe Captivate.

Is it 11.5.5.553 or a later version (which was for such a Mac update, I am on Windows). Mac updates to the OS always cause issues for other applications, your suspicion may be confirmed. I suspect, since you seem to have a perpetual license that was only supported until 11.5, that you bumping on compatibility issues.
You talk about the Preview screen. Know that for a non-responsve project the only valid Preview is F11, Preview HTML in browser. Which browser do you use for testing?
