I built my first course in the new version of Captivate and when I got to the test, the entire application started acting strange. When I started previewing the test slides it kept closing the project. Then I tried to add new slides with buttons instead of using the test slides and that wasn’t functioning. Then I tried to preview and buttons that were previously working stopped and new slides/items weren’t showing. Finally, I started a new file and then I was having issues even moving the location of items using the options in the properties tab. Do you think I need to have Captivate uninstalled and reinstalled? Could it have been corrupted? Not sure what to do. Appreciate any advice. Thank you.
I had something similar happen with Captivate 12.3. My projects would work one day and not the next. I spent hours trying to figure it out and finally got a hold of an Adobe help rep. My company uses OneDrive, and the application was saved to my OneDrive folder rather than my desktop. I had to adjust the settings on my desktop to stop saving projects to OneDrive and save them directly to my C-drive.
