Wow, this is really lame. I don’t see how Adobe expects users to use Captivate if they can’t publish.
I downloaded the patch, installed it and restarted my machine again. However no success yet. I am still not able to preview the HTML5 non-responsive course in browser.
Link does not work and I am having this exact problem.
Hello, I’m on 10.0.0.244 with MacOS 10.13.3. I did a clean install of 10.0 and applied the hot fix. Although I can publish, there is an issue with a play button and a blue highlight around it showing up on my published files now. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Autoplay is on and the “hide selection rectangle” is checked.
I am having this same problem. Projects will not publish. I have Captivate 2017 (10.0.0 226) and High Sierra (10.13.3). All projects get stuck on the preloader (spinning wheel). I have been seeking an answer to this for several weeks. This behavior is the same in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. I have slightly older Captivate projects that are working on the same web server. This is not a quiz, it does not track scoring, it does not need to run in an LMS. It is a single page (for testing) that will not run on a standard web server. I would really like a reply and solution as soon as possible!
I’m the first Captivate 2017 user for the entire Wells Fargo company and I need some help. I can’t get any of the Learning Interactions to publish…they are just blank. I don’t know if it’s a setting I’m missing. I downloaded the patch just now thinking that was the problem and it did not fix my issue. Please help. I’m trying to build some neat quizzes and I had to jump through some big hoops to get Captivate installed so I really want to produce some amazing stuff.
I’m having the same issue. Did you find a solution?
I have Captivate version 10.0.0.220, and am experiencing this issue, unable to preview or publish. Running this patch fix, I’m getting an error, and what is in my error log is
“Adobe Captivate 10 Update 1
Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M2P28”
HELP PLZ!?
Hi Jaime,
Sorry for the inconvenience. This update should be installed on Captivate 2017 released version:10.0.0.192. Can you un-install the current build and install released version and apply the update on top of it.
Let me know if you still has an issue at sankaram@adobe.com
Thanks,
Sankaram.
OK. I have uninstalled Captivate and reinstalled Captivate 2017, version 10.0.0. Tried running the update, and error log has Error Code: U44M2P28.
I have the same versions of both Captivate and OS X High Sierra as well as our entire team and they all work fine without any patch. This leaves me somewhat suspicious of any secret patch.
If anyone else is experiencing the same problem as I did, try installing the new build for Captivate which Adobe has not officially released yet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IB-nccMFXDZ08jWrQZV7g2VNXUzyT3XF/view?ts=5a2838e2
