Answer Key at end of module

I am creating a module where students will need to answer short answer questions.  They will not be write or wrong, they will be their thoughts.  Is there a way to have all their answers compile into a final screen at the end they can print out to bring to the training to discuss?

Thanks!

Here is the link to the blog post which I created to explain the two possible workflows:

Hi Lieve,

Thank you for this!! I was looking for something like this.

Follow up question. Is there now a way for the users to print this page with their answers?

You could try the JS command ‘window.print();’ triggered by a button. The Print dialog box will open and the learner can choose and format the printer.

I answered a similar question somewhere, not sure it was also you who posted this.

I don’t think this is about a graded quiz at all, which allows review but not in the sense you are needing. Short answer questions will only be estimated correct when the answer is totally identical to the preset answer which makes such a question pretty useless but that is a personal thought.

I would prefer not to use a question slide (not even in survey mode) but a Scrolling Text interaction for each of the needed answers. You can associate such an interaction with a user variable. You can insert the user variable on another slide and on runtime it will be replaced by its value. I suppose this would solve your problem.

Thanks this was perfect!  Sorry, I am new to all this so when I posted it in various spots I wasn’t sure if I was posting it to the correct place or not…I think the best spot to ask questions is by clicking Community in the upper right corner of Adobe Captivate?  If so I will keep it to that forum…no I did not post on LinkedIn as well.  Thanks for helping a “nube”.  I responded to your other post with a new questions…not sure if that is appropriate so I will keep learning and do my best to honor the time of you all who are so helpful (and critical!)

Yes, that would be great to keep to one place to post the question.  Sorry to be critical but due to my 10 years experience with forums about Captivate, know that posting a question multiple times can lead to frustrations with users who try to help.I am busy composing a simple article explaining how to achieve your ‘answer key’ either with short answer questions or with the Scrolling Text interaction. When it is finished, will post a link here.I think I already answered the extra question in the other thread…
