Hello – I am working on creating a responsive project, but cannot figure out a way to ensure my project scales to the largest possible size when viewed on a desktop browser. Typically we publish all of our projects using the Scalable HTML content feature, but I cannot find this option when working in a responsive project (breakpoint or fluid).
Does any one know if this is possible? If not out of the box, are there adjustments that can be made to the HTML file that will produce this same result?
Some information that could be helpful, happy to provide additional if needed:
- Using Captivate 2017 (but willing to upgrade to 2019 if it solves for this issue)
- Project size: 1280*720
- Includes quiz & knowledge check questions
- Variety of monitor sizes and resolution varies by user
- Target devices for mobile are iPads & iPhones
Thank you,
Jody
Your question sounds contradictory. Rescalable HTML is only available for normal (blank) projects, and it will rescale the course, always in landscape mode, to fit the screen.
In a responsive project, whether with Fluid Boxes or with Breakpoint views that is not the case, since you can have both landscape and portrait mode. You will have to develop for the biggest resolution you expect to be used.
