

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to create a bookmark in an interactive video using Captivate 2017? I know that Adobe Captivate 2019 allows you to add bookmarks to interactive videos–where after completing a certain action, a user is redirected to a particular part in a video. However, I wasn’t sure if this option was available in Captivate 2017? Or, if there was an alternative way to accomplish the same effect in Adobe 2017?

Yes, but it is a very cumbersome process. You have to distribute the video over different slides. Start of each slide will be a bookmark. You then have to create a ‘menu’ where yoi jump to each ‘slide’ which replaces the jump to bookmark. For that menu, you could find some inspiration in these blog posts:
