Hello,

Today while uploading .zip file(Captivate HTML5 o/p), site gives error “Invalid Captivate (.cptx) file ” . Then even I uploaded to see. While running project on this site, it gave error  as below:

<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”ISO-8859-1″?>

<Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access Denied</Message><RequestId>331702C8E3AFE4F7</RequestId><HostId>yZSUn5PakHx3gi86edl+UR1BNPF8727SMGuSnMUrTS4fEfUZKOY0LlAywPWYTRK/IohETb2NAdw=</HostId></Error>

What is wrong with project ?

Is it because My captivate 2019 is Trial Version?

Help appriciated.

Update: I could solve. but still keeping in Question session as to help some other, who  may face simillar problem.

Problem was with publishing setting(I think, By mistake).

Publishing setting->Quiz -> “Enable Reporting of this Project” was Enabled. this has to be Disabled while uploading on this site….

Corrected… uploaded successfully.

This is very basic! It is bit linked with my comment on your first D&D blog. If you define the D&D as a KC slide, you don’t need to set up reporting because KC slides have no scores. In that case you just have to check the ‘zipped’ option when publishing the file, which will not be a SCORM file meant to be uploaded to a LMS. This portal requires the file to be zipped because they use a cloud solution by amazon.

When I publish a tutorial to be uploaded to my domain, I don’t need to zip the published folder at all.  I upload the complete folder and automatically the launch file (index.html) will be recognized. Of course I don’t use SSWF output anymore.

If you publish a SCO, which is a project where reporting has been set up under Quiz, Preferences, it will be automatically zipped and has a bunch of extra files needed for the SCORM functionality. Such a zipped package can only be used on a LMS or after setting up an internal server which can welcome such a package.
