Hello
I have a project I am working on. I have sync’d audio with the slide content and it works when I play the audio while working in captivate, but when I click on preview project, the preview runs the audio but doesn’t show any of the bullets or images that are sync’d with the audio. This is just previewing – not scorm cloud preview (had to add a subcategory, but none seem to fit)
You have the opposite of what I am looking for. I have recorded audio on specific slides. When I try to preview the entire project, the audio stops playing after slide 5 through the end of the whole 32 slide project. I had to publish it to hear the whole thing, then go back, re-edit someo f the audio and then republish. Quite frustrating!
Do you leave a small gap before (and after) the audio timeline? Audio files tend to be big, and they need to be loaded On Enter for each slide. That gap allows some more time to load. Moreover it will also prevent that all audio clips together will be seen as project audio which would need to be loaded on the first slide. That is something you need to prevent.
Which version are you using please? Is it a non-responsive or a responsive project. Which Preview method? The last question is important for a non-responsive project: only F11 is using a temporary HTML output and I suspect you don’t want to publish to SWF anymore.
Since the second version of CP2017 AutoPlay is turned off. Do you see a play button?
If that is not solving the problem, it could be linked with the setup of the timeline. Post a screenshot of the timeline and check the action On Enter for the slide.
