My second question slide keeps freezing and will not continue to the third question slide. I have tried rearranging the slides to see if it is an issue with that slide but it seems to be an issue with being the second question slide. Whatever order I put the three questions in which ever slide is in the 2nd position will not continue to the third question.
Maybe relevant, maybe not, when I tried to upload the Captivate project zip file I get an error message saying its not a valid file but Captivate said it was published successfully.
I am using Captivate 2019 11.0.1.266
You have a long quiz slide, so I suspect you have an audio clip on that slide? You still have 5 seconds in the inactive part. I asked for the Actions because if they remained at ‘Continue’, the playhead will still need to move 5 seconds before getting to the next slide. Have a look at:

Please, do not decrease the slide duration. Especially a quiz slide. 3 seconds is fine. It is more of an intuition, lot of code is embedded in a quiz slide. Why did you decrease the duration? I don’t think the learner will feel the difference between 1.5secs of waiting and 1sec of waiting….
Next test: can you switch questions? To see if it is due to the position of the question or to the question itself. Can you post a screenshot of the Quiz Properties? Number of attempts, actions…
What is the option selected in Quiz Preferences, for the Required field?
Did you already try to recreate that quiz slide? Have you deleted any embedded objects? Can you give some more details about that quiz slide: type, setup, pausing point….
Yes I did recreate the slide – that didn’t help. I’ve tried it with a true and false slide and multiple choice slide. There are no embedded objects or at least, I haven’t deleted anything from the slide, if there were objects by default. Pause point is 1.0 sec, slide duration is 1.5 sec. Let me know what other information I can provide to help! Thank you.
