I cant upload my 360 video captured using samsung gear 360 in to the slide (in the VR Project). There is no issues when ive upload standard video.
Im using the trial version Adobe captivate 2019

I’m having an issue as well. I can upload a regular video and 360° pictures but for some reason my VR videos will not load upload.

I have the Samsung Gear 360 as well. Do you have the Samsung Action Director software? Using that software when you import the file it transcodes it into a a format that works for insertion into Captivate. Another alternative is to upload it to Vimeo, then download it back down, that will do the trick as well. I’ll put links and info below, let me know how it works out. I’ve found the Gear 360 app and the camera to have a clunky interface, challenging to get files exported out. I’ve also just used a mini to micro SD card with USB adapter to load the files directly onto my PC.

Extra steps needed to get Action Director to install, need to delete Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 files, then install them directly using steps in Youtube video below. Wish Samsung would fix this….

Thanks Ira, for this elaborate answer about Samsung Gear. Will keep it in mind for other users, since I have a Ricoh Theta which seems easier to collaborate with Captivate.

Can you describe the workflow you used? It is special, both in VR projects and on 360 slides: you need to click the button appearing in the center of the slide.
