Issues with Captivate 2019 preview option and resources library

I recently started with Captivate (2019 release) to compare with other development tool I´ve been using, I’m in the user learning stage and is a lot more complicated than I thought, now i have been having an issue with the preview of the project as all browsers I’ve been trying with gives the same message “server not found and We can’t connect to the server at www.html5tempxxxxxxpre.com, also I haven’t been able to open the resources at the media library (characters). sometimes when I restart the PC it works and sometimes it won’t. I´m not working at a server environment, just a personal PC as this is a trial stage on the ease of handling the software. any Known fix or what could be the problem? thanks in advance

To preview HTML output with F11, localhost needs to be usable. That seems to be the problem. Can you try to clean the Preferences as well. Find the subfolder “utils” under the installation folder and run the CleanPreferences… file for your OS while Captivate is closed.
Do you have the installed eLearning assets? I don’t know if you are on Windows or Mac. For Windows look under Public Documents for Adobe\eLearning Assets? Mioreover you need to have a live internet connection.
