Is there a way to define playbar designs specific to slides (not talking about custom playbar buttons) rather than the same playbar functions for the entire project?
Hello Lieve,
Let me try again.
The playbar we set via project–>skin editor, can be modified in terms of functionality (play, pause etc), but it affects the entire project. I am looking for a way to have playbar that can be defined to specific slides and not the entire project, say a playbar without next button in one slide but with next button in another slide. I am not considering custom play/navigation bar for now.
Skin is a property of the project, not of the slide. That makes your request contradictory.
Personally I never use the default playbar, since it is only confusing in any project with branching. I always design my custom navgiation and other necessary buttons.
I believe I’m understand what you want. It’s a feature I’ve seen native to Articulate Storyline but not to Captivate. Unless someone tells you how to remove the next button for just one slide, I would recommend hiding the tool bar on a specific slide and then bringing it back on the next one. This can be done through Properties ->Actions> On Enter Hide Playbar then show playbar on the next slide… Hope that helps

I do not understand your question, think it is related with another one you posted. I asked for clarification but didn’t get any answer, which is frustrating since I spend a lot of time trying to help users.
If you are talking about a non-linear project, have a look at one of two solutions I proposed, here is one link:

If you want a slide playbar that is possible if you master the timeline and effects.
