Uploading Adobe Captivate to NetLearning LMS System
(5)

Hello.

I am hoping someone can assist me with how to upload an Adobe Captivate (from a PPTX) to the NetLearning LMS System.  I have been struggling with this and would like any support that is out there.

Kind Regards,

K

Did you read my answer? It depends on the LMS: is it accepting only SCO packages or also normal zipped packages? If it is only SCO, you need to set up Reporting under Quiz Preferences, even if you do not have quiz slides. When you publish to HTML, the output folder will automatically be zipped. Upload it to the LMS and everything will be OK.

At this moment publishing to SWF is obsolete, you need to publish to HTML5.

I never use imported ppt-slides, because that is a very limiting workflow if you want to have an engaging eLearning course.  But if you insist to use that workflow, provided the import works as expected, you probably do not have Reporting turned on, which means that you cannot publish to a SCO (which is SCORM compliant). To do so you have to set up Reporting under Quiz Preferences. That can be done without having quiz slides nor scored objects.  Once Reporting is set up, publishing will automatically produce a zipped folder which has all files on board needed for a seamless collaboration with the LMS. You just have to upload it, the LMS will take care of unzipping and launching the course.

Some LMSs accept non-reporting packages but you’ll have to check that with your LMS people.

I have no idea about the NetLearning LMS but if it supports SCORM language, you can publish your Adobe Captivate Course as SCORM compatible and as a zip file. And then you can upload it to your LMS.
