Get any of Multiple Click Boxes to Release Playhead and Mark Correct

Good morning! We aren’t sure if this is possible. We have an Adobe Captivate “knowledge check.” We aren’t using a Quiz Slide, however, we are wanting the learner to click on a Click Box and have the Captivate mark it as correct and move forward. Simple enough, except when there is more than one correct answer, e.g., clicking the Save button, clicking File, Save, or pressing Ctrl+S. We are unable to get Captivate to not mark the question as Incorrect if someone clicks on a box. It only seems to work with one Click box. Any ideas? I imagine it would also be difficult to have one of the three correct options be to go to an entirely different slide, i.e., if they click File, it needs to go to the Backstage view so they can then click Save, and then, if they do that, it marks the question as correct. Hope this all makes sense – I would be so appreciative of any assistance.

Thanks,
Christine

I have the same question.

I have 2 correct answers for one question. The learner may choose either one to advance to the next question.  I’ve set each correct answer to be worth 1 point; however, the slide seems to be worth 2 points total points, instead of 1 point.

I posted some questions as answers. Maybe if at least you answered those questions I could propose a solution.

You will need to create a custom question slide, using variables and a shared or advanced action. It is also very important to know if you are aiming at a non-responsive project or a responsive project with Fluid Boxes. Reason: in a normal fluid box you cannot stack items. The solution I have in mind (and appeared long ago in my blog) works best if you can stack items, but can find a workaround for fluid boxes projects. I already asked that question in my first comment, but apparently it has never been read.

You don’t mention the version you are using (full number) nor the type of project. Know that click boxes are not allowed in a responsive project within a normal Fluid Box. It is bit of an outdated object.

What is the setup of the Click box?  Is the number of attempts set to Infinite or not? You can have two methods possible for one interactive object: either clicking or a shortcut key. If you want more than 2, you will need JS.

I have the same issue. I have a slide that has 2 correct answers (click boxes). The learner may click either click box to advance to the next slide. Each click box is set to be worth 1 point; however, when the total is scored, the slide is treated as worth 2 points. In other words, Captivate is dinging the total score by 1 point.
