I randomly am getting this error message while trying to publish. I have never had this issue before and really am just publishing working files that were previously flash to HTML since browsers are not accepting Flash anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Some courses are not having an issue and others are.
You are using version 10, but which exact version number as you find under Help, About Captivate?
Do publish to your system and upload the published file later on. Much better practice, could avoid lot of problems.
SO it’s Captivate 17 Windows 10 and it gets published to a network drive. I’ve never had this issue before and some files are publishing fine. And it’s because when I have a file and publish it directly to my desktop that previously wouldn’t publish and gives that error code, it goes through file.
Are the project files and the cache situated all on your system, not on a networked drive? Even OneDrive can lead to issues.
I would recommend to clean your Preferences and check the size of the cache folder as well.
Can you mention the full version number when you post a question (and the OS)? Maybe you need installing a patch.
