Running Record Simulation
I have over 20 years working in multimedia and design in higher education with 12 of those years being in instructional design. I currently am the director for the Center of Instructional Innovation at Augusta University and specialize in game based learning.

The Running Record Simulation uses captivate and character animator to help student teachers learn how to make an informal reading inventory by learning how to use the running record coding method to evaluation of student reading. The simulation has three levels modeling “I do, We do, You do” and promotes better understanding of how to gather information through running records.

Wow. Very well done. The 2nd activity “we do” was incredible. I learned a lot and enjoyed the practice. I did however have trouble downloading the sheet for the third activity.
