We are having an issue with a series of courses that we are publishing that for some users they work fine – normally users that have not visited the course before but for other users they are getting the course not loading correctly and 404 errors in console in the browser for various png files. When we upload a new course with the same content it works fine. Has anyone come across this issue before?

Yeah this could be a million different things. Wonky web browser settings would be my first guess. Might also be an issue if you’re using an LMS; perhaps there’s an older version of the course and the LMS is directing users to an old version if they accessed it previously.

Too little details are provided. Which exact version are you using? You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

I suppose you created HTML5 output since Flash Player is now dead.  Did you upload to a webserver or a LMS? In any case they need to support JSON, is that so? Which browser do the learners use? Do you have special content in the courses, like 360° slides? Are you talking about non-responsive projects or responsive projects? Are the courses accessed only from desktop/laptop or also from mobile devices?
