Start Screen Image Not Appearing in Chrome
(4)

HI All!

I’m hoping someone can help me with a Start Screen issue I’m experiencing.

I’ve added an image to the start screen so it’s not just the blank gray one. When I publish it, though, it does not appear on Chrome unless I refresh the page. It appears on Firefox no problem.

I’ve tested both scorm and non-reporting.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any insights?

Are you on Mac? I am asking this because the version number indicates a patch release for a Mac OS update.

Since I am on Windows, this makes it more complicated, I use 11.5.5.553. Which OS do you have? For Monterey you need version 11.8.

You are on a Mac! I am on 11.5.5.553 and Windows. I wonder if it is linked to that difference?

Did you check if your Mac OS version is compatible with the Captivate version? If you are using Monterey you need version 11.8.

That is very strange, I use Chrome and Edge for testing and always have a poster image created for my tutorials. I never had that type of problem so far. Can you mention the versions you are using, both for Captivate (full number as mentioned under Help, About Captivate) and for the browsers. I have FF installed but don’t use it that often, but that would allow me to check.
