Hey! I understand your urgency. Luckily, Captivate does allow you to export your project as a PDF. Head over to the File menu, select Export, and then choose the PDF option. You’ll be able to customize your settings and choose which slides to include in the final file.

Hi there! I’ve been in a similar situation before, so I can definitely help. To export your Captivate project as a PDF, go to the File menu and select Export. From there, choose the PDF option and customize your settings as needed. You’ll have the option to choose which slides you want to include in the final file.

Please, do not give wrong information.  There is no option PDF in the File, Export menu. It is impossible to add a screenshot in a reply like this, but here is a list of the options in the File, Export menu:

In older versions two export to Flash which are no longer valid of course.

Still available both in responsive and non-responsive projects:
   Preferences
Project Captions and Closed Captions   (to Word)
    To XML
     Styles

Hi! Yes, it’s possible to export Captivate projects as PDF files. Simply go to the File menu, select Export, and choose the PDF option. You’ll have the option to select which slides you want to include, and any additional settings you want to apply before exporting.

Please, do not give wrong information.  There is no option PDF in the File, Export menu. I include a screenshot. That one is for a non-responsive project in version 11.5.5. Of course the first two options are no longer relevant. They have disappeared in 11.8.1.

Publishing to PDF has been possible until years ago when the death of the Flash Player was announced. That PDF version was interactive and could even transfer interaction data and scores to a LMS. Too bad, it was in the old Flash time. I have already posted this in a previous answer to this thread, but apparently it has not been read.

The course modules that you create with Adobe Captivate can be published and uploaded to your Adobe Learning Manager account right from within Captivate. Would this help? Let me know how it goes!

The Storyboards are too technical for the client to understand though.

No, that feature has disappeared when it was no longer possible (due to the death of the  SWF player) to create an interactive pdf.

Since you talk probably about a non-interactive pdf, you can try the File, Print options to create handouts in Word which is easy to convert to pdf.  However, it will mean that none of the interactions will be possible to try out.

The Adobe Air Reviewer app is still available but the Reviewer needs to install it and may be afraid of using a AIR application (which is also based on SWF technology but doesn’t need the banned SWF-player).
