Hi!
I’d appreciate any help. I have been having problems for over a week now, every time I try to add a video in an existing file or a new one the entire app quits on me. I’m also having an issue with the image function, I get an error message anytime I try to add one.
I also can’t seem to replace videos I’ve already embedded, specifically if it’s a web link.
I upgraded to 12.5 yesterday and this hasn’t solved the issue. I’m using a Mac. Would appreciate any guidance as it’s affecting my work.

Please can you share the exact MAC version .Additionally please try few steps and check :
– Close Captivate
– Go to /Applications/Adobe Captivate/utils, and open ClearPreferencesMac. Doubleclick – CleanPreferencesMac
• Go to /Users/Shared/Adobe/ and rename “eLearning Assets” to “eLearning Assets.old”
• Go to /Users/Shared/Adobe/ and rename “Installer” to “Installer.old”
• Launch Captivate and Create a new project and add video on blank slide first and check.
