Play/Pause button reverse functionality

I am using a custom Play/Pause button but in reverse. I start with the slide paused and the user can select the play button basically to play/pause the slide audio. The problem is at the end of the timeline. I DO NOT want the play/pause button to advance to the next slide if it is selected at the end of the slide – I have a Next button for that.

Thanks.

Didn’t want to insert a link in my first answer, because moderation could prevent its appearance, and that is sometimes 2 days.

Have a look at:

Play/pause is not only for slide audio at all, I don’t understand that sentence at all. Having the slide paused at its start is also a bad idea, since it will not prevent animations from playing. It is also totally contrary to Captivate’s desing IMO.

You will have to use JS if that is possible to detect if the end of a slide is reached.

Did you know that adding a pausing shape button to the main master slide will pause each slide at its end?
