Hi,
I created a simulation and the command boxes all work except for the attached screen. Does anyone see anything in the screen shot that would inhibit the action command from working?
I can’t figure it out.
Thanks
This is very confusing. A click box is by defnition invisible to the learner, reason why it is NOT included inthe Object Style Manager. For that reason as well it never has an inactive part like the buttons, and the pausing point is set to the end of its timeline.
Since this thread is about software sims, I suppose that you want to extend the timeline of the CB for the duration of the slide? Just drag its starting point to the first frame (or use the Timing Properies). You can also keep the playhead at the first frame, select the CP timeline and use CTRL-E to align its start to the playhead. Then you’ll have to extend the duration of the CP timeline till the end of the slide timeline, either with the shortcut key CTRL-E or with the Timelin Properites (Rest of SLide).
Hi Lieve. I figured it out. The font size was too great for the command to recognize. I’ve fixed it and it’s working.
My new problem is the simulation does not show the command box when using the Tab key. I’ll have to see if I can fix.
If you have any thoughts on this please let me know.
thanks again.
That seems weird. You are talking about a Text Entry Box? Having a too big font size may cause the text not to be visible fully in the TEB, but the variable associated with the TEB will be correctly filled with the text. Since it is a software sim, the TEB is validated and the sim will continue when you have the correct value fot that variable. However it can be annoying for the learner not to see all the characters entered.
