Advancing slides problem

Good afternoon,  I am hoping someone can help me. I am building a project in Captivate 2019. I enter several buttons or click boxes on the screen. However, the slide begins advancing after only a couple of clicks on the slide. It is not waiting until all the steps are taken. Can someone help?

Please, could you give some feedback, answering my questions for clarification?

Here is a link to one of the most important Timeline blogs I ever wrote:

For force view:

Usual problem: understand the Timeline, the way pauses and pausing points (interactive objects) are working. Number 1 skill to acquire. I will post some links to blog posts in a separate comment.

It would help if you post a screenshot of the timeline of the slide with all those interactive objects. Each of those interactive objects has two events: Success, and Last attempt. The last one doesn’t exist if you have attempts set to infinite.

You can trigger a simple action (from the dropdown list under the Actions but in that case default setting is that the playhead will not remain pasued, but will be released. To avoid that you need to uncheck the option ‘Continue playing the project’. For advanced actions or shared actions that is not necessary.

If you want something to happen after all have been clicked,  that is called Forced viewing. Could offer you tips about that as well.

It helps if you tell which version (full number please) you are using, because sometimes there is a difference between versions..
