What is “Q & A” Section in “My post” of our profile page of this eLearning community portal? The confusing part is, we do not have the option to select it while creating a new post! So even if we assume that we can add FAQ type information(both Questions and its Answers) in “Q & A” section, how to add it?
As I have already explained in my blog, we can now have our eLearning module in the form of an app, that could be installed in mobile devices.
The advantage of having or making our eLearning module into an App is that, the app being installed natively in a Client’s mobile, will ensure that the content is always available even though there is no internet connection, and it will also make certain that user experience won’t be affected by slow or unstable network.
We all know about the great features of Captivate like Responsive Design, Virtual reality, Interactive videos, Gamification, etc. But there is one hidden gem of a feature in Captivate which is very rarely discussed and that feature is Creating a Mobile App of ‘eLearning Module’ in Captivate itself.

Like Importing Question pools, writing in an external file and importing all Questions in one shot, Is there any way to save all Action scripts(Advanced Actions), Shared Actions in an external file for quick reference. And after modifying, and to import back into the Captivate project? (I know we can see all together, in Project -> advanced Actions & Project ->Advanced Interaction) But exporting /importing all scripts / Shared Actions together??
While running ‘Executable’ (Captivate project’s published file) in Windows 7, the program runs fine but while closing (while exiting) it always gives an error “This program requires Flash.OCX which is no longer included in this version of Windows.” Even I installed different version of Flash Player but that message is still coming. Any idea to solve this?
I just created a single slide project and tested to publish as executable. Although no effect, no extra elements are added, why it as asking for Flash player? Can not we have executable output without Flash?

Before one month, I had uploaded ‘Drag -n- Drop’ part3 demo. But I could not get time to upload the Captivate program steps… Today I tried to recollect all that and made a note of that as follow. One to Many Define Cold-drink, Tea, coffee as Drag source. & three Star shapes as Target in Drag & Drop interaction. By default, there are no groups and your Source belongs to ‘none’. Create a Group Called “Drinks”. Add All drinks to […]
As you might be well aware that, besides many, there are two very similar looking Actions that can be used to control & manipulate our Application created in Captivate. program. Advanced Action & Shared Action. Every developer has different opinions on whether Advanced Action is better or Shared Action. And the fact is both have pro & cons. We are not going into that debate. Here, I am demonstrating Shared Action to achieve additional functionality in our Quiz, that is […]
