What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action.  I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

Convert Your PNG to SVG Images

Randomly generating questions within a project

I have created a project with question pools, from which I want to select 10 questions. When the learner gets to the end of the quiz, I want them to be able to retake the quiz but I want the questions they see to be a different randomly generated set of questions – not the ones they answered in the first attempt (we are mean here).  If the learner exits having failed the first time, they get new questions when […]

Sending Completion Data from a SCORM file to an LMS without a quiz

We recently implemented a new LMS that has excellent quiz-building capability. I have an eLearning course that I built in Captivate with a quiz. I have since removed the quiz from the SCORM file and rebuilt it directly in the LMS. I still want to use the SCORM file as the Lecture the user must take before beginning the quiz. How do I get the SCORM file to send completion data to the LMS when there is no quiz in […]
