Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

I am unable to preview an Adobe Captivate project I’ve created. When I select preview, a new web page appears, but the project never opens. I am able to preview other projects so it seems that I may have an issue with one of the slides. How can I pinpoint which slide is giving me the issue? Thank you in advance
Narrative learning is an approach that leverages storytelling’s power to facilitate the acquisition and retention of knowledge. This method is grounded in cognitive science and educational psychology, emphasizing the natural human inclination to process and understand experiences through narratives.
Dr. Donald Kirkpatrick developed the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation, also known as Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Training Evaluation. It is a globally recognized tool for assessing the efficacy of training programs within organizations. It evaluates training through four progressive levels. By systematically collecting and analyzing data at each level, organizations can identify strengths and areas for improvement in their training programs. The Kirkpatrick Model provides a structured approach to demonstrating the value of training, informing future investments, and ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of training initiatives.
The CIRO Model is a training evaluation framework specifically designed to assess the effectiveness of management training courses. Developed by Peter Warr, Michael Bird, and Neil Rackham in their 1970 book, “Evaluation of Management Training,” the model offers a structured approach for businesses to evaluate their management training needs and outcomes. The CIRO Model stands out from other evaluation models because it is tailored to management training, unlike more generalized models applicable to various roles within an organization.
The CIRO acronym represents the model’s four hierarchical levels of evaluation:
Thanks in advance, I have tried everything and am unable to resolve. When creating the Software Simulation in all new Captivate I am encountering the following: It does not appear to be capturing text input or automatically generating text input fields. I am using simulation type: Assessment. In preferences > modes > Assessment I have checked: INPUT FIELD > Automatically add Input Fields for Text Fields. When I run test simulations that require text input, be in an application such […]
We created a jeopardy style e-learning game, with 25 questions and answers, all the questions work correctly during the playback, meaning the correct answers are displayed, except for one question number 3. The advanced action is the same as the other true/false questions but instead of displaying the answer to number 3, it jumps to slide 2 or 4. Anyone have this issue and how was it resolved We are using Captivate Classic, I think it is 11.8 version. Thank […]
