In Captivate 2017, I have some smartshapes that are being used as buttons. The problem is when I export for HTML5 and run in Microsoft Edge, the button does not show up but it is there because if I move my cursor to that area of the screen it shows up. Simple way to mimick Typing Text for HTML5 output, using Captivate’s features.
I have created (imported) two projects in Captivate 2017 from a ppt. Added audio no problem. No problem publishing but when uploaded to LMS, one ran perfectly fine. 2017 Captivate. Further to the post in 2017 by JoeQ, creating this Advanced Action worked great for one slide. Is it possible to do this on all slides so that if the user returns to any slide in the Captivate project, the audio would not play the 2nd time around? Does that mean I need to make multiple ‘playonce’ advanced actions – one for each slide seperately?
I needed to convert my 65 page PowerPoint to into captivate. I found it was a very challenging task because it simply imported every slide as a flat image with no independent objects to manipulate (like text boxes, images,etc.) So I did some research and found that Storyline 360 converts the slides into their program and retains the independence of the objects. Captivate 2017 – I have created several CBTs. Some have audio and some don’t. Can I set it up so that the user can Stop the video at any point in the CBT and restart in the same spot or does it always have to start at the beginning?
I created a course, and it was put in our Success Factors LMS , published as HTML5, Scorm 1.2. Over 500 people took the course successfully and gained completion. The next wave of users is having an issue with completion in Chrome. and nothing in the course has changed nor has it been republished. Anyone ever seen this? I’ll gladly take suggestions for solutions. We have a lot more work coming through! Thank you!
Hello, I have created an interactive project in Captivate 2017 and it plays fine locally from the Index file, however when we load it onto our SalesConnect platform (which does play other html5 interactive programs) we just get a spinning icon which never fully loads. Someone mentioned the loading icon usually means the package is looking for something it cannot find.
