Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

However, if anyone can recommend any books that were of great help to you and Captivate, let me know! Currently, I have a few in my Amazon cart but just not sure which would be good. Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

When I preview it in CP it works fine but after publishing it goes silent after a couple of slides. Not sure why the audio stops playing. I have already tried re-creating and publishing it but that didn’t solve the problem. Anyone had this issue before? Any idea on this?
In this video, I show you how you can setup Adobe Captivate 2017 Release like the professionals do. Actually, I feel that this setup makes things easier. In this instance, I suspect that my clients would discover more features within Captivate if they used these settings.

Somehow I made it through more than 3 years and 150 LMSs without seeing or reviewing the Adobe Captivate Prime LMS. Recently, several clients asked me about it by name, so I headed to the Adobe website for a first-hand look. I am already a limited member of the Adobe community — I rely on the Adobe Sign service to digitally sign PDFs and use Adobe Stock for my photos and graphics. Since I was already logged-in as an Adobe user, I […]
Show, Don’t Tell – The Power of Visuals in Educational Media Have you ever noticed how drug commercials follow a similar pattern? They highlight a medical disorder, for example, depression, diabetes, overactive bladder, etc. They then introduce their solution — a pill, a shot, a patch. Finally, they list a litany of “side effects” as mandated by federal law. These narrated effects range from slight nausea, to death — all while B-roll plays of grandpa frolicking with the grand kids […]
I’ve seen a number of cases where people have tried to use the eLearningBrothers “print.html” technique to create a custom PDF of information gathered during a lesson. Inevitably it has led to frustration. In one case, the administrator forgot to include this custom file in the course module, and in another, the amount of text was larger than that allowed in a URL and broke the call. The following gets past both of these problems 1. the entire […]
