Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

However, if anyone can recommend any books that were of great help to you and Captivate, let me know! Currently, I have a few in my Amazon cart but just not sure which would be good. Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]
Adobe Captivate Macbook Pro No Audio Narration, System Audio, or Ability to Add Audio to Video Demos
I have been using Adobe Captivate for some time now. One of my favorite features of Captivate over other e-learning software is that although it can be a bit more complex, the trade-off is that it offers several features in one package. Thus if I want to make a very quick video demo and add that cpvc file to a responsive learning project I can. Or if I need to make just a quick video tutorial to demonstrate to my […]
We have heard of microlearning many times in the last few years as one primary mode of implementing digital learning. However, the question remains: is it effective or overrated? I will try answering the question in this article.

I am working in Captivate 2019 (Version 11.8). I am still experiencing the accessibility issues previously discussed. I know these issues were supposed to be fixed in 11.5 but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I have also tried the workarounds/solutions suggested on the page linked above but have not had any luck. All content except buttons read as graphics (tested with both JAWS and NVDA). Screen reader users are told that each element on the page is a […]

Let’s say you have a lot of images that you want to import directly into a specific folder, or sub folder in your library, is there a way to do that? Right now, whenever I try to import multiple images, or even one image, it imports into the top-level directory of my library, and there does not seem to be a way around that. I try to click import on the folder itself, but that does not help. Thanks
Hello, I am working with Adobe Captivate 2019 Release 11.8.0.586. My current project has 49 slides, including 11 groups. If I open the branching view, it shows only the relation between page 1 and page 49. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance. Joerg
