What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

In this article the described solution is […]

Tabs with Forced Navigation in Your Adobe Captivate eLearning Project

In this video tutorial, I show you how you can create a tabs interaction that includes forced navigation (hidden next button) in your Adobe Captivate eLearning project. This is a great way to chunk your content but keep your slides looking great. It also satisfies your stakeholder’s desire to prevent learners from moving forward until they have viewed all the material in this interaction.

My experience using Captivate.

I just wanted to share with you all that I’m pretty impressed of how far I have come throughout my experience with the Captivate Software, I love it unconsciously (As I don’t ever use a singular solution like this) It allows me to go pretty fast in the creation of new content, also, its pretty stable. lets see if I can go further, I would love to be an expert in using quizzes like a pro. Thank you Adobe.

Unable to open Captivate so that I can sign out

I cannot get beyond the “Membership Expired” screen when attempting to open Captivate.  I know the solution to “Membership Expired” is to open the application and sign out and then back on with my company ID, but Captivate never opens or lets me get beyond this screen. When I hit “try again” I get a message that says: “Your subscriptin to Adobe Captivate is now active. Click Continue to use your product.”  When I hit Continue, the program starts to […]

Video & Audio Pause

I have a question on Video Demos. I have captured a video demo and added an audio (Text to Speech) to it. However when the learners leave the browser screen the video pauses but the audio keep running. So when the learner is back the video resumes from where it stopped but the audio is not sync with video. Is there an option in Adobe Captivate to automatically pause a video & audio if learners left the browser screen?
