What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action.  I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

My Favourite New Feature in Captivate 9 – Multi-state Objects

Probably my favourite feature addition for Adobe Captivate in recent years is multi state objects. When it was first released with the launch of Adobe Captivate 9, I was initially lukewarm to multi-state objects. Prior to version 9, I had three states in my image buttons for up, down, and over; and that was just fine with me. What I didn’t realize was how many different situations I could use multi state objects for. I decided to share some of […]

In the newest release of Captivate 9.0.2, you may have noticed several changes: increased speed, better access to the Adobe Stock library, and a new and improved Assets widget. […]

Photoshop and Captivate are the best friends in the world

One of the best features of Captivate is that it is an Adobe product. This means that Captivate integrates seamlessly with other “Made in Adobe” applications, despite the fact that Captivate is not part of Creative Cloud. In this post, I want to explore the integration between Captivate and Photoshop. We will mainly focus on three Photoshop features that allow you to establish an efficient workflow between Photoshop and Captivate. 1) The Layers Layers are at the heart of any […]
