Problem: Videos do not get streamed in Adobe Captivate projects. Reason: The URIs of the videos are specified incorrectly. Solution:
Issue: AICC enabled LMS allows SCO’s to reside on different server i.e. CMS, File server etc. When the Captivate course and LMS are in different domains and when user tries to access the course from LMS it hangs at the loading screen Reason: Adobe Captivate does not construct the required URLs correctly when the course and LMS are in different domains. When I try to take Captivate SCORM course on some Learning Management Systems (LMS) which support both SCORM and AICC, Captivate SCORM course freezes on load with “Loading…” screen and does not move forward. Vish and I conducted a training session yesterday on Adding Interactivity to eLearning Courses with Adobe Captivate 5, where we demonstrated how to add interactive and noninteractive objects to eLearning courses. We displayed a completed course to the attendees and then went on to create it from scratch, where we were picking content from the storyboard to create the course. Looks like the participants liked the storyboard template
