What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Important lessons/features to learn and practice on TRIAL verison

Hello,

I recently created my adobe account. I am interested in learning Captivate, starting with trial version.

Being a rookie I am unable of what features I should I start with to get hands-on. Hence I haven’t installed a trial version yet because I don’t want to lose out on crucial days (from those 30 days we get) while trying to find a traction.

What features are recommended to learn as the basics of Captivate? What are the concepts I need to learn as a beginner?

Thanks.

Captivate with Branching, Branch Aware and Return to Quiz

We’ve created a demonstration video on how to complete a Captivate Project with Branching, Branch Aware and Return to Quiz. We’ve also had some fun with this by adding a little bit of JavaScript to create some randomness when the user “selects” the branch. You can find the blog post with video and timestamped table of contents here https://learningplan.com.au/captivate-branch-aware-return-to-quiz-javascript/ Hope you enjoy.

Do I need a License to play royalty-free music?

If you are still not sure whether you need background music, just remember that customers find businesses more attractive if they play music at their place, and YouTube viewers like background sound to feel the best vibe.
