What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action.  I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

Review a Webinar

I was on the webinar this morning, but lost internet connection. Will I be able to look at a replay of the course?

Can I upload/ import someone else’s adobe captivate project and continue using it?

I have a question about using other people’s projects on my computer. If another person created a training presentation using her adobe captivate 2019, can she send this training to me so I can upload it to my adobe captivate 2019 and continue modifying it?

Publishing Options

What is the easiest way to get a project to a user? I am an ed tech coach for a K12 school district and would love to use Captivate to create eLearning professional development options, but I’m struggling to find a good way to get the projects to my teachers.

Error message when trying to publish project as SCORM

Hello! I am new to designing courses using Adobe Captivate – love it.  I am using the 2019 version.  I noticed that when I adjusted my publish settings to one of the SCORM options – when I tried to publish I received an error message.  Additionally, when I tried to preview using SCORM cloud – I got an error message as well. Has anyone had this issue? Thank you! Careese

Retrieve user interaction analytics from custom Animate interactive

Multi-state objects and videos

I’m trying to create a slide that displays multiple YouTube videos, but I cannot add videos to the states of the shape I created.  I cannot seem to use the Carousel learning interaction widget because it does not take the youtube video ID that I am entering…and I cannot find the YouTube Learning Interaction that I have seen referenced in videos. Can anybody suggest a solution for this?

Captivate, Creative Cloud Library and Adobe Stock

Feature suggestion for Captivate and Creative Cloud Library integration

Need some assitance

I’ve encountered a SCORM  player that places a banner on the screen ( above my application) with “quit” I got this response “The warnings in the dev console may be helpful for them to resolve. There is an issue with the content rather than a TRAIN error.” I don’t see any warnings in the development screen and my app provides an “exit” option for the user. [Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects […]

How to Use mLearning to Maximize the Impact of Your Blended Training

Over the past decade or so, corporate training has gone through several iterations, moving from in-class, Instructor-Led Training (ILT) to Virtual-ILT and ultimately to 100% Self-Directed Learning with little or no instructor-led components. However, Blended Training is being acknowledged as an optimal approach for online training – delivering benefits from both ILT and 100% self-directed training models. What Is Blended Learning?
