Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action. I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]
I’m experiencing a difference in what I see in Captivate and the Captivate preview as compared to what is visible to the user when it’s published to LMS. This from a custom final score page showing the points, max points and the users percentage correct. What I see from cpt and in preview: What I see from LMS: My colleague and I have rebuilt this multiple times and we keep getting this result. We’re using Captivate 9 and Captivate 2017. […]

I used captivate CS 5.5 and then CS6 a lot in 2014. (At that time), I preferred all my O/P publication in SWF. Then, was engaged in a projects that uses another software/tools Visual studio …. But as HTML5 is now growing as default standard, I just republished my old Captivate projects in HTML5, but it is not giving any output in HTML5. It gives problem the moment I add Random Question slide(from Q. Pool) in the project. What could […]
In Captivate 2017, I am creating Exam having 100s of questions in different pools. When we publish as HTML5, 1000s of files get created(majority are images…).BUT After making some one or two minor change in text(say spell check or Text color change), when we re-publish, the whole procedure get repeated. And normally I upload again folder containing all sub-folders and files. Is there any hint that which files only need to be re-uploaded ? What I mean is, Can we […]
Hello, I have projects that were developed in Captivate 17. When the new update came out, I found my self working in 19 without knowing. So when I went to save and had to convert to 19 or lose my work. I do not backups to revert too so I now have 6 responsive projects that will play in the mobile or tablet view. (100 slides x 3 views x 6 projects) at this point are they trash because of […]
Greetings, I’m struggling terribly with Adobe Captivate 2019. It’s my first time using the product and it doesn’t feel intuitive. I waste a lot of time trying to do simple things only to find out that something can’t be done or if it can the work-around is complicated i.e. paragraph and bullet spacing to name one example. Very disappointed with the amount of time I’m spending to create something that is very basic and uninspiring. I need a comprehensive set […]
Captivate Scoring is randomly recorded by LMS. Users are randomly being frozen when returning to course quiz.
Is this a problem for the LMS team or is the ID team at fault by improperly setting Captivate Quiz settings?
