Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

However, if anyone can recommend any books that were of great help to you and Captivate, let me know! Currently, I have a few in my Amazon cart but just not sure which would be good. Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

Intro This article is written as an answer to a question on the forums: Drag&Drop with Advanced Action For quiz slides it is possible to show different Failure messages based on the attempt number. That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action. I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]
1280 x 720 is too large (content overfills screen so viewer cannot see slide without scrolling up/down to view top and bottom of slide) 1024 x 627 is too small (content only fills half of screen, while the rest is whitespace)
We have three consecutive slides of drag and drop in a large mandatory module that have stopped working on our LMS. What happens is that it flicks through the first two slides not even giving you enough time to do the drag and drop exercise. You then land on the last page of the drag and drop which allows you to do the exercise on that last slide. If you get it right it will allow you to continue forward. […]
We are thrilled to announce that the virtual training offering of Adobe Certified Professional (ACP): Adobe Captivate program is now available for Asia Pacific (APAC). This will be a 3-day instructor-led virtual training program with 4 hours of hands-on workshop per day. The instructor will also take your questions at the end of each day’s training. Here’s the schedule for upcoming training sessions. For more information and online registration, click here.
We had temporarily paused the Adobe Certified Professional: Adobe Captivate program because the next version of the authoring tool is set to release in 2022. We did not want our customers to pay for, and take multiple Adobe Captivate trainings and certification exams in a short span due to the version upgrade. However, because of popular demand, we have decided to resume all the three program offerings (Certification only, Virtual training + Certification, Virtual training only), which include access to […]

The cause is Windows Temp file folder is full. Windows key + R %temp% OK CTRL+A DELETE Check for folders named “1”, “2” in addition to “Temp“ Also clear the Adobe Captivate Cached Projects folder.
Learner disengagement is a challenging issue L&D teams deal with – in spite of creating engaging learning content that is easily accessible. In this article, I showcase how microlearning can simultaneously engage learners and boost performance.
Can Adobe produce an updated version of the NeoSpeech which is compatible on Win 11? I just installed Adobe Captivate and wanted to try out the different voices for text to speech. After searching on the forum for solution (which is to rename the OOBE folder to 1234), it still does not work. During the setup, the error message was your browser does not support. However, had checked that my Chrome & Edge browsers are all updated to latest versions. […]
My organization is switching from MS Suites to Google Workspace. Very soon we won’t have access to PPT, or WORD. We often need to download a Captivate Project into a WORD document for legal reasons using the Handouts option. I need help to find out how we can use the Print option to create a PDF without going through WORD. Captivate 2019 currently does not provide an option to create the PDF, it wants to download into a WORD doc. […]

In a work captivate 2019 file we have a slide that when you run it has three slides contained into it. They are all called slide 11. By clicking the button you will get the new image and text. How do I get to see the layers or groups in this slide? I need to change information in the chemical hazard portion of the slide.
