What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

The Number 1 tool for the creation of Advanced eLearning

7 years ago I created my first Advanced eLearning thanks to Adobe Captivate 5. It was a PowerPoint presentation enhanced with user interaction. Adobe Captivate 5 enabled me to quickly produce flash content with the ability to add action scripts and variables. A year later Articulate Released Storyline that dethroned Captivate out of my toolbox. It seemed that Adobe fell a sleep and their innovation was reduced to a catch up race with the competition. I’ve tried using the “jump to slide” option on the “if failing grade” condition to start course back on the first slide. The slides replay, but the course won’t advance to the quiz. I’m using Captivate 2017. Thanks in advance for your assistance

Importing 360 video

I am testing a trial version of Captivate 2019. My particular interest in the VR capability. The intended application is using the VR for virtual tours of churches and museums, and exploring the possibility of interactive museum exhibits. Importing a 360 image into Captivate works fine. However, importing a 360 video does NOT work. The Captivate page says “Add 360 image / video“. But when I select the sample 360 video I want to add, nothing happens!  The video was […]
