Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

However, if anyone can recommend any books that were of great help to you and Captivate, let me know! Currently, I have a few in my Amazon cart but just not sure which would be good. Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

Intro This article is written as an answer to a question on the forums: Drag&Drop with Advanced Action For quiz slides it is possible to show different Failure messages based on the attempt number. That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action. I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

Failing to print page from Captivate module
Hello – I am having a problem using SCORM 2004 when I publish. When a learner fails my quiz, I am getting “unknown” returned as the success status instead of “Failed” in SCORM Cloud. I have a simple 6 multiple choice question quiz that a learner must answer 100% to pass. When the learner gets 100%; when tested, SCORM Cloud reports the following: Completion: Complete Success: Passed Score: 100% Time: whatever it took When the learner fails the quiz and […]
From an educator’s point of view there are memorisation, cognition or control based teaching and learning strategies.
There are also engagement styles and assesments. Captivate enables development of highly efficient educational solutions in timely and in cost efficient manner. There are potentials for synergy effect when it is combined withefficent delivery and recognition systems.
I am beyond frustrated at this point – anyone who can help, I would appreciate it. I have been working on a project, saving as I go, adding voice to text and almost done, and the system freezes and then says it isn’t responding and not only that, but when I am able to open it back up, everything is gone – nothing saves and I have to start all over.
I am trying to complete a project and every 30 minutes it freezes and tells me it isn’t responding. This is quite frustrating. Any ideas on why this is happening?
Please, I don’t know how to track the slide view of learners in Adobe Captivate, as I have Adobe captivate project and don’t know how to do it in LMS website. Also I don’t know what is the difference between Scorm 1.2 & 2004. appreciate your help and support.
Where can I find a sample elearning lesson plan with Captivate to get me started? I am new to Adobe Captivate.
Hi everyone, I am guessing that there is a simple answer to this questions. Basically I have a slide with a Text Entry Box (Employees Name) that I want to copy those results on to a Text Caption Box at the end of the project. Do I have to create an Advanced Action on the slide I want it copied to or is there an easier way that I am missing?
I’m attempting to use JavaScript, on-enter to a slide, to move a button off of the stage and later move it back on when it is needed. I’m not using show/hide for reasons that aren’t germane to the question I’m asking. I’ve done this before with images…moved them off of the stage with JS “on-enter” and then animated them onto the stage when a button is selected. I’m actually able to animate the button in question and move it around […]
