Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Intro This article is written as an answer to a question on the forums: Drag&Drop with Advanced Action For quiz slides it is possible to show different Failure messages based on the attempt number. That functionality is not available for Drag&Drop slides. As you can read in the thread, another user posted a solution using the Object actions which are executed after each drag action. I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]
More users than ever have been surfing the internet on their smartphones and laptops, making responsive web design a must. However, contrary to the native mobile app, these sites also cannot have the same level of the on-the-go user interface (UX). Surprisingly, turning the WordPress platform into a smartphone app is simpler than you would expect. With the aid of the right plugin, you can easily and cost-effectively provide your customers with a superior mobile experience.
A question to satisfy my curiosity.
What is Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional intelligence (otherwise known as emotional quotient or EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
When it comes to e-learning software tools, adobe captivate has always been the most sought after. It is the embodiment of a series of adjustments to advanced e-learning technologies. Recently, the e-learning industry introduced their latest version of the authoring tool in the market. The latest version exhibits a re-invention in the design approach to online course creation, corporate training and educators with keen interest in digitalization of learning experience.
Adobe Captivate streamlines the learners skills in e-learning without the need for programming language. It is recommended that you take an assessment test after every chapter of the training to measure the range of understanding the concept and redrafting the training objecting.

When I record a video of an application in Captivate 2019 a rectangle is located within the video. This is doing nothing and I cannot find out how to remove it. This was not there in earlier versions of Captivate. I need to full slide in my video but the rectangle covers part of the application window. I have included part of a screen shot. I cannot find the switch to turn this off.
I have been unable to import a power point 365 into Captivate 2019. Is there a reason for this? Is this function not possible? I have had to save the presentation in an earlier version of powerpoint to get it in to captivate 2019
