Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]
Hi, Can someone recommend JavaScript, HTML and CSS books for beginners that would be a best fit for Adobe Captivate? I keep researching but do not find anything in particular. However, if anyone can recommend any books that were of great help to you and Captivate, let me know! Currently, I have a few in my Amazon cart but just not sure which would be good. Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]

Hi all. I’ve been playing around with the software, trying out some things recommended by a few of you who always seem to share information with me, and I have not been able to determine a way to do what I would like to do. But as I have learned from reading posts on this community, just because I can’t figure something out, or it is not easy to determine, it doesn’t mean someone else hasn’t figured it out. The […]
Hi all. I am curious about this one. I am really interested in finding out who is using the Captivate Draft app and how you are using it? What do you like about it? What don’t you like? If you are not using Draft for your storyboarding, what are you using? I have met/discussed with others that simply use PowerPoint, but I really want to hear from this community of knowledgeable and experienced people. Thanks in advance for the knowledge.
What methods or tricks do you use to check and secure the knowledge of the participants in the online course? Do you only use automated assessment methods ( clasic tests)? Have you ever worked with an SME that personally evaluated participants?
Good morning! We aren’t sure if this is possible. We have an Adobe Captivate “knowledge check.” We aren’t using a Quiz Slide, however, we are wanting the learner to click on a Click Box and have the Captivate mark it as correct and move forward. Simple enough, except when there is more than one correct answer, e.g., clicking the Save button, clicking File, Save, or pressing Ctrl+S. We are unable to get Captivate to not mark the question as Incorrect […]
I just downloaded Captivate but it won’t install on my Big Sur MBP. Will it run on Big Sur.
Hello all, I’ve achieved the famed Guide status and would love to redeem my points so that I can access the 3 months of complimentary Captivate. I have sent an email to nedas@adobe.com as suggested in previous question posts on the same topic, but I have not received a response. Any suggestions? I would love to continue learning how to create learning experiences in Captivate. Thank you in advance!
I’m looking to develop an attestation form with captivate where people have to read a page then click a button to “confirm” they have read it and will comply etc. does anyone have any templates I can see to get some ideas. I know its a simple project, but I’m a newbie
