I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Plan on also heading to a Barnes and Nobles this weekend and see what’s […]

Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a tool used to ensure that you can align the needs of the organisation and the employees to a training development plan that gives the desired results and identifies gaps in your current training system. I am creating a sample module with three slides, scorm 2.1 compliance. the exit command is on the last slide, but the module is not being close. in order to close I have to use the close button from the lms. I am using Forma.lms ver 2.0 and captivate 2019. It shows you how the VR based approach can create an immersive learning experience. How Can Virtual Reality Or A VR Based Approach Add Value To Online Training? Earlier in the year, in my eBook on eLearning Trends and Predictions for 2018, I had highlighted the potential of AR/VR to create […]

Last month, I attended the Adobe Learning Summit in Las Vegas and was part of the second cohort to gain the Adobe Captivate Specialist Certification. Since returning, several people have asked about the process of gaining the certification, so I’ve decided to share some of the Q&A. If you’re thinking of taking the certification, my hope is that there might be something useful in here for you too.
This article describes a way to animate a landscape in loop with Captivate 2019 and 2017.
Using Captivate 2019 and am trying to find out if Branching works like Triggers in Articulate Storyline 2. I would like to use a process that allows me to link the main slide to child slides so that I do not have to overlay the main slide with numerous slides to show progression. Also, does Captivate have a way to do a temporary publish (10 days for review) like Articulate does? Any suggestions?
