Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Quiz less responsive to clicking since change from SWF to HTML5.

Hi .. first time post from a very non techie person! I have a Captivate course that ran well, until I had to switch from SWF to HTML5.  Then it became slow (which was resolved by switching from Scorm to TinCan) and the quiz has become very awkward … you click on a multiple choice answer and it doesn’t show your choice as being selected.  You then click on the selected multiple choice answer again and – because I’ve set […]

Mars Colony 01: A Journey Into JavaScript and Gamification

Launch the Mission: Mars Colony 01 Project:  Adobe Captivate 2019 incorporates a rich variety of accessible features and functions that allow developers to produce effective eLearning courses. However, whether the result of client requirements, or your own professional development goals, you may want to extend Captivate’s capabilities through the use of JavaScript or JQuery. My interest in using JavaScript and JQuery was twofold. First, I wanted to brush up on my JavaScript skills, as I don’t specialize in JavaScript programming. […]

Sizing a drop-down widget in Captivate 2019

I have created a drop-down menu using the supplied widget.  It will not let me make the font larger than 14.  In fact, sizing seems difficult no matter what.  Any suggestions?  Also, the widget appears to create a swf file.  Does that mean it will not work in html5? Thanks! Brian
