Hi Everyone! I’m new here and this is my first post. We (in Canada) have just been told that we need to add Descriptive Video to our Captivate eLearning Modules. These modules are being used internally and not public facing, so do we really need to add Descriptive Video? And how can you add it to a module that already has narration? Thank you.
I worked with subject matter experts in instructional design and surgical assistance on this project. The first piece is an interactive learning project the first topic in the first lesson of the first chapter of the first course… that’s a lot of firsts. So far, I’m loving Captivate!
Points in a question according to the number of attempts
I am am back to Captivate after over ten years. I want to convert a powerpoint presentation. When if begging to load the the dialog box appears, it is frozen; I cannot click on anything and have to close Captivate. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

When going through the Adobe Certification, I thought I heard that the widgets are flash based. What is Adobe doing to convert these widgets over since flash will be retired by the end of this year? Hi all, I feel like I should know how to do this, but I’m a bit rusty on Captivate right now. I have a Forward button that isn’t showing until the audio finishes (compliance course) and on some slides, I have text animations. The installation of the update fails near the end and seems to corrupt the installation. When I start up Captivate 2019 I get a dialogue box that reads Adobe Captivate 7 The localized resources files for this application could not be loaded…… After I click OK the Captivate 2019 splash screens displays but then disappears. There is no option to repair so I have to uninstall/reinstall. I didn’t see any solutions so any suggestions would be appreciated. Dave
