Big Sur (macOS 11) update for Adobe Captivate (2019 release) is here!
Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from. I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

I predict that this is going to shift the other way within the next five years. If you don’t have this skill, you may no longer be competitive within this industry. You need to master these skills I will be sharing with you in this livestream.
Among the many content upload options supported in Adobe Connect, creating SWF content at an authoring client may require an additional step to avoid the following pop-up warning: Rather than upgrade Flash, you may need to edit the registry on your Windows authoring client. The full article is here on the Adobe Connect Support Blog: Authoring SWF Content for upload to Adobe Connect
Publish a PPTX in HTML5 in Adobe Presenter 11.1 and upload it to the Adobe Connect Content Library in Connect Central and wrap it in an Adobe Connect Course, the enrolled trainees do not show as completed in Reports unless there is a quiz embedded. I have a shape in a template slide. When I create a new slide, for some reason the shape is hidden. Even though I did a “bring forward” and a “bring to front” in template slide. The shape has a variable on it to show slide title and an icon over a small part of it. How can I make the shape show?
Does anyone know why when I click a source, it automatically slides into the drop target on its own?

A lot of awesome ideas were shared by the audience. You can watch the recording or take a look at the slides: The slides include links to additional resources. Here they are: Henry Jenkins on Participatory […]
Is there another way (rather than physically dragging every cue to the desired spot) I can assign cues to the audio pieces in the CC window? Sometimes, I have multiple pieces of audio and end up having 10- 12 cues in the Narration window. It really becomes very difficult to sort them out and align them with each piece. I was hoping to find some shortcuts or an option that assigns the cue to a piece with the help of […]
