I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

I posted some comments about the limitations of that solution. In this article the described solution is […]
Hi Everybody, I’m working on an eLearning that will have a quiz at the end. The user should be able to finish all 10 question. So you have the attempts immediately on the slide but I want them to run the quiz completely and than have […]

My Captivate 10 interactions will not work in preview mode or when published. I started this responsive project in 9 and converted it to 10. I added a new e-learning Click to Reveal interactions and when you click on the tabs it does not reveal the the information. It mostly stays on the introduction tab. I am using a iMac with Sierra, not high sierra. I found the reason the click to reveal interaction was not working is I had […]

In this video tutorial, I show you how you can set up remediation for your final quiz questions.
Outsourcing of eLearning content development has been there for a few decades. What has helped it grow is certainly its most significant gain, that is, cost savings. The bigger gains are in terms of other strategic benefits that it offers. It enables the Learning and Development teams to focus on the next level of tasks including strategic planning, determining ways to measure the effectiveness of learning, analyzing program usage, and exploration on what more is possible. However, there are several […]
I have downloaded some characters from the ‘Get Free eLearning Assets’ area of Captivate. Is there a way for me to include these downloaded characters under the ‘My Asset’s -> Character section? For example, under My Assets -> Characters I choose a category type then click a person. From there I see all the different poses and if I want a Close Up, Half or Full pose. I want to be able to do the same with the eLearning Brothers […]
by Kevin Siegel, COTP Inserting and editing video in Adobe Presenter is as easy as accessing the Adobe Presenter tab on the Ribbon and then clicking the Video tool. Once videos have been added to a PowerPoint slide, they can be manipulated just like any other PowerPoint object. I received an email recently from a new Presenter developer. He wanted to insert a video, but instead of adding the video to the slide, he wanted it to appear to the […]

Hi everyone, my organisation has recently purchased Captivate 2017. The Adobe Captivate marketing material says it has access to over 75,000 free learning assets. Can you please confirm if this includes access to the in-built My Assets -> Get Adobe Stock Assets? Or is this purely talking about eLearning assets, characters, media, projects and themes? Does my organisation have to purchase a subscription to Adobe Stock to include images into eLearning content? Thanks, Maree
