What are eLearning Devs and IDs reading?

Greetings all. I am always looking for resources and things to learn from.  I have read some articles recommending books and unfortunately some that seem really interesting I haven’t been able to find, but I will continue to look. Thought I would pose the question here. What are some good resources that you recommend? They don’t have to specifically be direct to eLearning or Instructional Design, but they obviously can. But if there is something that relates and you feel […]

Adobe Captivate and Importing Questions CSV

I’m trying to import at CSV for to create our annual test for our employees.  In the past I’ve entered the questions manually, but this year I thought it might be easier to do the import.  I have the file in the proper format, but every time I try to import it starts the import and then says, “Importing CSV Format File (Not Responding) and then just sits there. At first I thought the issue was the sheer number of […]

Is there an interaction or already packaged “Flash card” program in Captivate for learning vocabulary lists for foreign languages?  Need something for 100 word lists that randomizes (and mark ones to drop from the list as they are learned; or star hard ones).  Is there any kind of automatic interaction or project built like that? Thanks!

Playbar on HTML project disappears when window is maximized

playbar disappears in HTML SCORM in Chrome when the window is maximized. It works perfectly in IE11, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Drag and Drop interaction

I have incorporated a drag and drop interaction in a module.  It is not to test the learner, just to give them a chance to practice.  However, I do want to make sure they actually attempt the exercise, so I want to hide continue button until after an attempt  (my boss is requiring it).  I have been trying to set up an advanced action and have tried a ton of combinations, but nothing is working as intended.  I noticed that […]
